Please follow EVERY SINGLE STEP of the instructions below:
1. Sign up for a date/time. No more than four students per slot. (click "edit this page" and add your name--then click SAVE)
2. Write down the names and emails of the other three participants in your group. They do not have to be from the same section/hour.
3. Choose up to 7 or 8 pages of writing you would like help with for your portfolio.
4. At least two full days (48 hours) prior to your scheduled conference, email a copy of the writing you chose to the other three people in your group or post your writing on your wiki page and CLEARLY LABEL what you would like them to read.
5. If someone in your group does not get their materials to you at least 48 hours in advance of your conference, please let me know. It will hurt their grade, not yours
6. Download the Group Conferencing Worksheet. Complete one for each of the papers you receive to work on.
7. Come to the conference, bringing copies of your writing, copies of all the writing you received, and worksheets for each piece.
8. If a member of your group is slacking or getting behind in the process for whatever reason, please do what you can to encourage that person to fully participate. These workshops are for your benefit, but they will not help much if all are not prepared.
